Configuring the Classic Structural Material Manager Material-Entry Screen
By default, Structural Material Manager's classic material-entry screen is displayed in a window rather than full-screen under Windows NT 4.0, 2000, XP, Vista and newer operating systems. The reason is that some computers using these operating systems lock up when attempting to launch the classic entry screen in full-screen mode, but they can always successfully display it in windowed mode. From E.J.E. Industries' standpoint as a software supplier, it is thus best to have Structural Material Manager use a window by default but to allow the user to configure his or her particular system for full-screen mode if their PC does indeed support that mode.
